Samsung planning to Launch 5G by 2020
Technology promises download speeds hundreds of times faster than the 4G.
Samsung has announced developments in 5G mobile broadband which it claims could launch by 2020.
The Korean technology giant has made the world’s first adaptive array transceiver, which is at the core of 5G mobile broadband.
The tech,which operates in millimeter-waves Ka Bands, will provide data speeds hundreds of time faster than 4G LTE-Advanced networks.
Samsung said its adaptive array transceiver can transmit data at more than "1Gbps" using the 28Ghz frequency. it plans to accelerate research and development of 5Gso it can be commercialized by 2020.
The technology will allow the transmission of vast amounts of data, and possible real time streaming of Ultra-HD Content.
