Enable & Disable Windows Firewall using desktop shortcuts

Recommended: Disabling the firewall is strictly not mandatory because, it protects your PC form malicious software’s & from hackers. Though you want to Enable & Disable firewall frequently for certain reasons, you can use this procedure.
Create the desktop shortcut as follows.
Right click on your desktop > New > Shortcut.
  1. To Disable firewall, type “netsh firewall set opmode disable

             Click Next > Give it a name as Disable Firewall > Click Finish.
             You can also choose a suitable icon for it.

     2.    To Enable Firewall type “netsh firewall set opmode enable
             You can also choose a suitable icon for it.
             Generated shortcuts looks like this…



You have to run the created shortcuts as Administrator. Then CMD pop-ups and closes by itself. Then it’s OK.
